With specific expertise in Women’s Health and trauma, I have years of experience helping clients cope with women’s issues, peripartum mood disorders (postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, etc), adoption and foster care, fertility challenges, infant/pregnancy loss, pregnancy and childbirth, family problems, domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse, body image issues, and eating and food related issues. My approach is client centered and trauma informed and will also challenge you to work toward tangible outcomes so you can see direct improvement in your day to day life. I also have extensive expertise in healthcare, offering counseling for first responder issues, compassion fatigue, caregiver/provider burnout, hospice and end of life, grief/loss, chronic illness and more. Clinical approaches include client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed therapy.
