About me
I am clinically licensed social worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania since 2008. I started out my career as a forensic Interviewer which prepared me to gather a very good psycho~social history to learn about my clients and help to clarify barriers to success and wellbeing. Since I earned my LCSW, I have had the opportunity to work with children as young as age six, teens/adolescents, adults, and people within the geriatric population. My clinical experience includes pediatric and adult OCD, ADHD for all ages, general life stressors, depression, anxiety, marital/couples issues, family therapy, drug and alcohol treatment particularly with opiates and alcohol addiction, and other concerns and mental health issues.
I tend to approach therapy and my clients from a very client centered approach giving individuals a safe and comfortable space to address the issue that are bringing people into treatment. I think people generally find my laid back and easy to open up to even after having negative experiences in other therapy settings. My therapeutic approach includes but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, ERP(exposure response prevention), grief therapy, solution focused therapy, family therapy (with SFT by Salvador Minuchin), and Humanistic counseling.
I believe that every single person is in the reach of help and no one is broken but rather hurt by people and life circumstances. I appreciate how much courage and resilience it takes to reach out for help. I hope that I can walk along side you and help to guide through difficult circumstances, life stressors, loss, change, and anything else that gets thrown your way. I look forward to meeting you, earning your trust, and building a helpful and respectful therapeutic relationships.
I generally approach therapy as a professional within a private practice mindset. If you would like to schedule a video/ telephone session or live chat let me know some available times that are good for you to get something scheduled. Let me know if you have any questions. Much thanks and I look forward to meeting you!
Please note: I try to accommodate client’s scheduling needs. I do not have a set schedule for video/phone/live chat sessions. After we decided to work together we can set up appointments that work for you.
