I was raised in a small East Texas town and moved to San Antonio in 2001. I am proud to have grown up and have completed my schooling in the Edgewood district. I have obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and my Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UTSA. I am currently in the process of obtaining my doctoral degree in clinical psychology. In counseling, I want us to working together to maximize your quality of life. I believe it is best to let the client lead the therapeutic journey as we work together to help attain personal growth. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to Anxiety, Depression, School-related issues, Work-related issues, social identity, and Self-esteem. My therapeutic approaches include Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy, and I also utilize Play-Therapy Techniques. I have a passion in working with kids and teens. I am also versatile in working with adults and families. I find it a great privilege to be a part of your life’s journey.
