I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have an extensive experience working with adults by helping them navigate relationship issues, grief, bereavement, trauma, anxiety and stress, mood issues and family concerns. I am also passionate about helping anyone who identifies as a highly sensitive person (HSP)or Empath get to see the gifts inherent in being sensitive and better understand themselves so they can navigate life in a world that feels harsh and unwelcoming at times. I am a nonjudgmental and welcoming, strength based clinician. I draw from mindfulness based cognitive behavioral approaches such as DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), helping clients identify meaning, direction and satisfaction in their life/journey. I am also trained in trauma informed EFT or using the Emotional Freedom technique to release trauma from the body, on Cognitive Processing therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am a bilingual provider and I am happy to conduct therapy in English and Spanish.
