I earned a Masters Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. I received a Bachelors Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Gerontology from University of South Alabama. I provide individual, group, and relationship counseling to adults and have specialized training in the field of Drug and Alcohol counseling, HIV/AIDS, LBGTQ community and environmental and emotional stressors such as divorce or loss of job. I have 12 years of counseling experience in Prison Therapeutic communities, inpatient and outpatient services. I worked with clients having a wide variety of behavioral and emotional challenges. I use a variety of approaches to help clients to individualize treatment. I utilize Cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and a holistic approach. I also believe in harm reduction therapy. I am a former military spouse so I bring the ability to relate to the military community.
