I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University . I have practiced as a Clinical Social Worker for 12 years. I have helped those with depression & anxiety to identify the roots behind their feelings and build new coping skills. Currently I spread a great deal with students, and parents helping to develop a change in perspective to gain resiliency in our current environment. I walk with clients by normalizing the feelings of chronically ill, caregivers concerns, and navigating compassion fatigue. Helping to discuss career issues, and discovering new passions. Other specialties include parenting, life transitions, stress management, conflict resolutions, communication issues, and adjustment disorders. I use evidence-based practices to implement appropriate activities and use a variety of therapeutic modalities. I have worked with clients all the way up to 96 years of age. I have run groups for depression, anger management, coping skills, anxiety, self-esteem, and life skills. I have observed increases in positive life outcomes, increased self-esteem, and a decrease in negative behaviors from my clients. I often incorporate the models of empathetic Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational interviewing, Strengths-based, and Person-centered treatment approaches as my specialties. I have a great passion to see individuals succeed, and live a life of quality. So does life seem to be on stand still, your relationships struggling, feeling plagued with low self-esteem, in need of some parenting tips, feeling angry, in a funk you are uncertain how to get out of, everything seeming to go wrong, feeling the walls are caving in, and want to gain the tools to get your like back on track? My experiences have provided me with extensive exposure to the diverse needs of individuals. Many people encounter challenging seasons in life, need encouragement, a chance to be heard, & a chance to work through to issues of life in a safe place.
