Hello there, look at you making good choices! I am so glad you’re pursuing your own path to wellness. Taking the first step is never an easy task. My name is Sheila and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I’ve been working as a clinician for the last 6-7 years. I have worked in substance abuse treatment centers and an eating disorder treatment center. Prior to becoming a clinician, I was a 9-1-1 dispatcher. I am also a registered yoga teacher. My favorite clients to work with are those experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addiction issues (food, sex, substances, gambling, etc.), first responders and those trying to learn how to cope with stress in effective, healthy ways. I would consider myself to be a master of mindfulness between my certification in yoga teachings and the training I’ve received in breathing techniques. I would love to help you beef up your own mindful practice and gain an awareness of skills that may become life changing.
