I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina with over 30 years of experience. I have worked in private settings as well as educational settings. I have worked with clients with many different concerns including depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, relationship issues, career changes, and ADHD. I have experience with adults, children and adolescents. My therapy style is kind, warm and collaborative. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach is a mix of cognitive-behavioral, brief solution oriented therapy and Christian based values. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan to meet your individual and specific needs. I believe that mental wellness is as important as physical wellness and typically incorporate “exercises” for both areas. Do realize if you cancel your scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours notice, it will be marked as a No Show in the BetterHelp system. We know emergencies occur, and we will more than accommodate those cases, but cancelling without appropriate notice affects our availability to others and our own personal schedules. I have recently retired and I am now working on a part-time basis plus spending time with our 3 year old grandson! We also have two more grandbabies on the way!
