My name is SuKura Webster and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I enjoy assisting clients in becoming more emotionally aware in order to communicate their needs and wants. I intentionally work to create an atmosphere where clients can communicate their needs in a safe environment. I utilize a client centered approach where the client is the expert. I believe when clients take an active role, they can begin to find their strength to heal. I use different techniques to challenge negative thought patterns and cognitive distortions. I believe that each client can be empowered and find a renewed since of joy and hope to make change in their lives. I completed my graduation training at Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center where I gained experience working with survivors of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I am experienced in working with issues of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harm, schizophrenia disorder, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, behavioral disturbances and more. My passion is shown through my ability to assist clients with being the best version of themselves.
