Welcome! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Texas, and have been working in the mental health field for 9 years. Most of my work experience has been in private practice; however, I do have experience working in other settings (including, in-patient/PHP and IOP hospital programs, and a brain injury rehabilitation facility). I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2015 with my Masters in clinical mental health counseling. I have an eclectic approach to therapy and utilize many different types of modalities in accordance with what is best for my client and their unique needs. I have worked with many populations including adolescents, adults, and older adults. I specialize in trauma therapy and am trained in EMDR therapy and somatic therapy. I have experience dealing with many types of issues, including stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I believe the client is the expert of their story and it is my job to collaborate with them and help them uncover and develop their strengths and tools that will enable them to move forward.
