Hello! My names is Suzette Gordon. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, with over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist and life coach. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology. Throughout the years, I have worked with many different populations, including children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I have experience working in many different settings, including schools, inpatient residential treatment programs, foster homes, group homes, and private practice. I have spent many years helping children, teens, and families navigate their lives through the foster care system. I am very confident and comfortable helping you through life issues that may contribute to feelings of low self esteem, depression, and anxiety. I also have experience with parenting issues, relationship issues, grief and loss, family issues, and significant trauma related issues. My counseling style is very warm and approachable. I am very empathic, have excellent listening skills, and I strongly encourage a great deal of interaction from my clients. I feel that is is important for us to work together as a team, so that you can grow and uncover your potential for positive change and self healing.
