Welcome! My name is Tabia Thornton-Bey, LCSW and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working in the social services, mental health field for over 17 years working as a crisis clinician in clinics, in group homes, in schools and residentials. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Eastern CT State University and my Master’s degree from the UCONN School of Social Work. My specialty is mental health and substance abuse. My experiences include working with children, families, adolescents and adults. My focus primarily has been around anxiety, trauma, depression, communication skills and with those who have experienced abuse and neglect. I am solution focused and want to help you accomplish your goals. My clinical approaches are based on the needs of the individual alongside evidence based modalities.
