I am licensed in Wisconsin with 10 years of professional work experience, including school-based mental health services for all ages, day treatment services for children and teens, and outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents/teens and adults. The majority of my professional work has been with children and adolescents who present with behavioral issues, poor school performance, or those who have experienced trauma and/or abuse. I also have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, parenting issues, motivation, self-esteem, and overall confidence, and specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment issues and childhood disorders. I have participated in specialized trainings in Attachment-Based Family Therapy, play and rec therapy, CBT, Trauma-Informed Care, Trauma Reprocessing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I consider myself to have a calming engagement style and strengths-based clinical approach and find it important to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
