Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the State of New Mexico (LIC# CMF0200391). If you decide to work with me please know that I take an interpersonal, systemic, and supportive approach. Simply, I believe that people can be healed through compassionate relationships with others. I am here to work with you on any goals you may have for yourself – with empathy and open-mindedness. I have over 10 years of counseling experience. I have working in a variety of settings (inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations, non-profit, community health, university counseling centers, integrated behavioral health care settings, hospice) and have helped individuals address a variety of life stressors (depression, anxiety, substance abuse, family stressors, parenting, trauma, end of life care, and many more). My passion towards counseling led me to seek out a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology. My primary areas of research include use of bilingualism in psychotherapy, outcome measures, and sex positivity. Feel free to ask me more about any of my training experiences.
