I am a warm and compassionate person who speaks from the heart. I am an avid believer in a holistic approach to mental health therapy: mind, body, emotional and social factors. I don’t believe in a “one-style fits all” approach; instead, I consider the human healing journey to be a personal one. We comfort and counsel others only as we continue to receive ongoing comfort and counsel. Not having the proper tools to overcome pain and suffering can lead us to repeat the unhealthy survival mechanisms that we have learned to survive. My therapeutic approach is strength based with eclectic therapeutic techniques that conform to the individualized needs of my clients. I help clients develop greater self-awareness and understanding of themselves and in the process learn new skills to break out of those old patterns.
