I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – (LPC011471 – https://verify.sos.ga.gov/verification/Search.aspx) – whose combined expertise in the areas of social work and mental health span 19 years. Prior to becoming an LPC, I dedicated over eleven years as a social worker with the State of Georgia providing social work services to children and adults across the state of Georgia. As a social worker, I provided skilled services in the areas of therapeutic foster care, child adoption, and child abuse investigation. As a Counselor, I specialize in treatment for addiction, depression, trauma, grief, anxiety, and anger. Additionally, I provide independent, contract mental health counseling services as an individual counselor, family counselor to a counseling provider in metro Atlanta. I hold a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
