About me
Have you experienced trauma, addiction, feelings of being alone, of not being heard or understood? I provide a safe space to be heard and to be seen. Lets move beyond what is “wrong with me” to “what is “RIGHT with me”. Although we share many different stories on the outside, on the inside we have felt empty and unsure of the next steps to gain stabililty. Come let us walk together to move toward your goals. I have over 20 yrs experience n assisting individuals move from crisis to stability.
I received my bachelor’s degree from East Central University and my master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lakes University. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 1999 at such facilities as The Native American Center of Recovery, Dr. Dan Marker (National Counselor of the Year), Bayview Behavioral Hospital, and Kinzel & Associates. I’ve also developed an eight-week curriculum for victims of domestic violence and 12 session parenting curricula. Additionally, I hold level I certification in Neuro- Sequential Model of Therapy from Dr. Perry’s Child Trauma Academy and am certified in hypnotherapy. I am a Licenced Clinical Social Worker with the state of Texas, license #66580. Finally, I have specialized training in working with families, children and trauma.
