Well hello there….my name is Tiffany M. Gerling. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I earned my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, majoring in Psychology. I went on to obtain my Master of Arts (M.A.) in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. My professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults; in individual, couples, group, family, and marriage counseling. I began my career working with children and families in the child welfare system. I have contracted with several community mental health centers in Tampa. I have worked extensively with children/adolescents who have experienced childhood trauma. I come from a multicultural family and have been exposed to many different cultures, races, and ethnicity which enables me to connect and empathize with a wide population of people. I work with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and trauma issues. I provide services that span from therapy for depression, grief, parenting support, teen issues, couples counseling, trauma, behavioral issues and much more. My therapeutic approach is personalized and tailored to the needs of my clients in order to assist them with attaining the personal growth and clarity for which they are striving. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While you can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary, individualistic therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
