I am a professor of clinical mental health counseling and a practitioner with over 17 years of experience. I am licensed in Wisconsin. The majority of my clinical experience is in based on men’s mental health issues. I teach developing counselors all of the core theoretical approaches and so I am comfortable using a wide range of techniques to guide clients towards meeting their goals. My preferred modalities are EMDR, Trauma-informed care, Psychodynamic techniques, Psychoanalytic techniques, Psycho-oncology, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy/Rapid Induction Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Theory. I have significant experience treating male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
