I have about a decade of experience in the field of mental health. I have worked for non profit agencies such as well known drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, as well as government funded community mental health clinical settings. I have taught groups in residential facilities including anger management, opioids, cognitive behavioral therapy, family dynamics , 12 steps, and many others. I am a licensed master social worker , but I fancy myself a psychologist at heart. This unites the best of the two disciplines as social work focuses on fair and ethical treatment for all humanity, while psychology emphasizes behavioral , psych- analytic skills. Both of which I confidently uphold, and define my career path by. I am well versed in treating substance use disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, major depression, bipolar disorders, borderline personality, as well as children’s disorders and a myriad of other diagnoses as well.
