My primary goal as your counselor is to help you clarify your presenting problem and work towards reducing your suffering and enhance your quality of life. I primarily work with adults who are experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, anger, chemical abuse/addiction and post-traumatic stress. I ground my counseling work in scientific, evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My best work is accomplished when you and I feel we are working together towards a common goal while being aware of the your challenges and resources in mind, body, relationship, and environment.
