I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in Utah, New Mexico, and Alaska for 7 years. I have experience with substance abuse, addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am a military veteran and have worked with veterans on combat stress/fatigue as well as career challenges and transitions when leaving the military. My therapy style is genuine and warm. I believe that treating others with respect and compassion will enable them to begin to handle their own issues, especially negative self-talk and challenging irrational beliefs. My approach combines cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies as well as mindfulness approaches.
