About me
I am licensed in District of Columbia with 26 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, coping with grief and loss, & parenting issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
About me, “I’m fortunate to have a career that is invigorating, challenging, rewarding—most importantly, person-centered that, “I Absolutely Adore!”.
My beliefs around selecting the right therapist is crucial—one whom you can trust, establish rapport easily and disclose your inner most thoughts /dreams / goals/ success and/or challenges—which includes values and conflicts…which includes identity issues, i.e. LGBTQI . Often, these areas can create the greatest challenges due to the need to separate our beliefs from others as it relates to life /love/happiness/success/employment/health and relationships.
My goal is to listen intently, and provide eclectic—yet integrated, person-centered therapy that incorporates a myriad of solution-focused, motivational, holistic, goal oriented, some spiritually based techniques—that is eclectic. Depending on your needs/goals, we can explore prior therapy experiences, success and obstacles and create a new tool box of resources, coping or survival skills– moving forward.
