I am licensed and nationally certified counselor in Alabama with 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in providing direct and indirect mental health and behavioral counseling for children, teens and adults with a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, community violence, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, career difficulties, & coping with life changes. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Although I am open-minded and much of my clinical experience includes working with African-American or Black youth, families, and adults in underserved communities given my firsthand experience, I am multiculturally competent and eager to learn more about various cultures.
