Counseling is a self-exploratory journey toward inner peace. It is an opportunity to grow emotionally. Emotional growth and maturity is a life work. What is emotional maturity? It includes the ability to be honest, open, genuine, transparent, and loving. It means you don’t change you, to be a version of you, that you think someone else wants you to be. You display the ability to be kind to others, but you will set boundaries so you are not compromised. You live in your heart and experience and not in your small mind. We all face challenging times and need an enlightened witness to guide us through. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling.
