When I grew up, I always knew that I wanted to be of help to others and I knew that I wanted to be a psychologist. Also growing up in a big family taught me the importance and the value of working together, collaboration and the fact that no matter how much one knows about something we can always increase our knowledge. In fact, I can safely say that in most of my opportunities to help others, invariably I learned not only more about working with various issues and diversity of people but about myself as well. Over the years I have worked in many racial, ethnic, sexual orientation and diverse age communities across the country and over a wide range of issues and challenges spanning over 25 years. These include depression anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. It takes a lot of courage to seek help and my approach Is highly collaborative where we will seek to venture down the pathway to healing and feeling better together. Regarding your challenges and discomfort, you are the expert I Am the partner with you and together we will forge a way out of what might seem like darkness into the light.
