I am licensed in Mississippi with 30 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, eating disorders, anger management, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. My philosophy of therapy is to support and encourage the concept that clients have tremendous potential to change and grow. The goal of therapy is to aid clients in identifying and unleashing their potential and subsequently their potential to change. My theoretical orientation is a Cognitive Behavioral/Solution Focused approached with emphasis on changing both thought patterns and behaviors. A cognitive behavior therapy approach is utilized to carefully measure what the person is doing and then seeks to increase changes for positive experience. Solution Focused explores ones current resources and skills that can help them create change to reach their personal goals.
